Turn The Coronavirus Mess Into Your Message

If there’s one thing that’s certain right now, it’s that we’re all struggling with this new reality of being in the midst of the global Coronavirus pandemic and time of social distancing.

We’re all unsure of just how long this is going to last or what the future holds, so we might as well make the most out of social distancing instead of sitting around and complaining about things. True or true?

On top of having more quality time to spend with our family members, we can use this time to reflect, recharge, and think about where we truly want to go in life and who we want to be.

We’ve got nothing but time, so we might as well use it wisely! This is the perfect time to start a big project, gain some new knowledge, or even learn a new skill.

Join our free Facebook group “Millionaire Mindset In Times of Crisis“ where we’ll be releasing a series of content to help you use this time to improve yourself and the people around you.

If You Have Lemons, Make Lemonade

If you’re asking yourself,

“But how am I supposed to start something fresh and new, given that everything is such a mess right now?”

I have an answer to that.

What if instead of looking at the mess as a bad thing, you used the challenges and struggles you are currently going through right now to help, benefit, or teach someone else — or to start a new business or take the one you currently have to the next level?

Instead of looking at a mess as a bad thing, use the challenges and struggles you are currently going through right now to help, benefit, or teach others. Share on X

Spending time at home can be the catalyst to starting “Your Next Big Thing”

Each and every one of us has some big idea that’s been floating around in our head, something we’ve wanted to learn, or a project we’ve meant to tackle, something we wanted to teach to the world and profit from, but we just haven’t had the time.

Well, now is the time.

Think about it for a second…

Over the past couple of weeks, what changes have you made to your life to adjust to this new reality?

Are there obstacles you’ve found a way around?

Is there a problem that you’ve had to find a solution for in order to get through the day-to-day grind?

Odds are good that in the middle of whatever your “mess” is, you’ve found a tip, a hack, a workaround, or a way of making things easier.

Share The Knowledge That You Already Have

Your next “Big Thing” can is simply be knowledge that you already have that you can share with someone else to benefit them during this time.

Take, for example, a former student of mine named Jenny, who immediately applied her “secret” fool-proof method of sleep training for her new baby to sleep through the night once her family went on lockdown. She knew she had to get everyone in the house on the same schedule while she’s trying to balance working from home with having all of the kids home from school and daycare.

Do you know how many many sleep-deprived parents from being up all night with crying babies would PAY for someone to show them how to get them to sleep?! Jenny had a problem, and she fixed it. And she could make a fortune by sharing the solution to cleaning up her mess with other parents who are also in need of a good night’s sleep.

Or how about someone like Bill Gates? After dropping out of Harvard and having his first business, Traf-O-Data, fail miserably, he knew he still had an idea in his head that was going to change countless lives. Can anyone imagine where we’d be without Microsoft?

We all have some sort of “mess” in our lives right now that we could potentially use to help others get out of theirs, and they don’t even have to be complicated messes!

Things like…

  • Effectively co-parenting in the time of Coronavirus
  • How to go from managing a team at the office to remotely (tips, tricks, hacks)
  • Remote-worker productivity tips
  • Productivity tips for working with the kids at home
  • Maintaining a good schedule and routine at home
  • Doing an at-home haircut since nobody can go to the salon

Or if you’ve experienced a mess in the past, ANY problem that you’ve endured, recovered from, found a solution for, NOW is the time to create your message and teach it to the world. Odds are, if you’ve had that problem, others are experiencing it too.

Here’s the thing:

No matter your level of experience — your trials, tribulations, and even your failures can HELP people…

And helping people is the cornerstone of successful businesses.

If you help one person, you make one money, if you help some people, you make some money, if you help a LOT of people, you make a LOT of money.

4 Questions to Ask to Identify Your “Mess” and Create Your Message

1. What has been the most challenging thing I’ve had to overcome during Coronavirus?

There is most likely one specific hurdle that you’ve had to get over or something you’ve had to devise a work-around for.

2. How have I adjusted my daily routine?

What have you done to make sure your day runs smoothly that could potentially benefit other people if they implement the same shift?

3. What skill do I have that people want to know how to do themselves?

For example, people want to make their own masks since there’s a shortage right now. Do you know how to sew? Share your knowledge with others.

4. What would I tell others is the one thing that has made my life easier during this time?

Maybe it’s a productivity tip, or some kind of household fix, or even a product or service. What can you share or recommend to others?

It’s All About Mindset

The bottom line is, getting through this time and coming out THRIVING all comes down to one thing — MINDSET.

This pandemic is truly only as bad as we make it. If we focus on finding the positives in this situation instead of being all bent out of shape about how our worlds have been turned upside down, we’ll not only come out on top, but we just might be even more successful than we were before this whole crisis hit.

If we can look for the silver lining and figure out how to make lemonade out of lemons, we’ll not only help ourselves — but we’ll have the potential to help a lot of other people, too.

So, are you ready to take your mess and turn it into something that can save others from their messes? What mess in your life do you think could help someone else? Comment below!
