Where can you find true happiness? And how do you access it?

In my experience, there’s really only one place that you can find happiness. And if you can find it, you’ll understand how to tap into it.

First, let’s determine where you CAN’T find happiness.

It’s not in the perfect job, the perfect relationship, nor a perfect state of health. You can’t find it in wealth or success either. Even great friendships or family connections are incapable of providing lasting happiness.

If you base your happiness on these circumstances, you will never be happy. Making outside conditions responsible for your happiness doesn’t work, because they may not last! 

If you’re “happy” because you’re in a “perfect” relationship and then that relationship ends, your happiness will end, too. Because it was never true joy. Happiness based on a relationship – or anything else, for that matter – is conditional, which means it can’t stand on its own.
